Alamein FC is pleased to announce the signing of Declan Ensor as our Under 20s Head Coach for Season 2024.For the last 7 years, Declan has been immersed in the process of nurturing talent across diverse organisations. Most recently, Declan was coaching at Ashburton United in their NPL Boys Program.
His appointment brings a wealth of knowledge to Alamein, which Declan acquired from many years of playing under and coaching alongside a number of experienced coaches, including Michael McBride, Marcelo Koslowsky and Joe Montemurro.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to work amongst some incredible people in this industry. Over the years, I have retained my favourite qualities and ideas from each of these interactions, and have workshopped them into my coaching,” said Declan.
Holding an AFC C-Licence, Declan plans to complete his AFC B-Licence this upcoming season.
“We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Declan. A student of the game, Declan has a unique background, and brings both experience and a holistic perspective to our Club. We look forward to working with and supporting Declan,” said Alamein FC President Kathy Stamatopoulos.
