Addy spent the bulk of her youth football in the Tasmanian Institute of Sport/NTC programs. After finishing school, she moved interstate to play in the Victorian WPL, where she stayed for 4 years before returning to Tasmania. Injury led to new opportunities in coaching and her time back in Tassie saw her work as head coach of the Taroona Skills Program (coordinating programs for 4–16-year-olds), head coach of Taroona U12 and U15 development squads, and working as a Participation Officer for Football Tasmania.
Eventually she returned to Melbourne to play NPLW football and continued her coaching journey in roles as Head and Assistant coach in various NPLW junior teams, Assistant Coach in senior VPLW and Head Coach of reserve VPLW. Addy is excited by the opportunity to work with the U15 squad again this year, and continue her coaching development at Alamein FC.
“I am delighted Addy has resigned with the Club. She is a key member of the coaching staff and has a bright future in the game. All of the players love what she brings to the table, so we are excited to be able to secure her services for Season 2024,” said Liam Kafka-Sweeney, Alamein FC’s Technical Director.
